Best overall Apple Passkey authentication

by Calvin A.

After standardizing our Apple-device team on Safari as the primary browser, Apple Passkeys eliminated password entry entirely on the four web applications we tested replacing it with instant Face ID or Touch ID verification.

Pros:Our Apple-ecosystem development team with Safari's Apple Passkey passwordless authentication for supporting websites and applications signed into three web applications using Apple Passkeys without typing a single password or receiving any SMS verification code.
Cons:Passkey support requires both the website and the Apple device to have compatible authentication protocols implemented, which requires planning ahead during initial setup.

Excellent results using Hide My Email alias generator

by Fiona D.

Since our privacy-focused design team adopted Safari for daily browsing, Hide My Email protected our personal inboxes from eleven newsletter subscriptions by providing unique aliases that we can revoke individually.

Pros:Our privacy-conscious design team with Safari's Hide My Email generating unique throwaway email aliases for sign-up forms signed up for twelve newsletter subscriptions using unique Hide My Email aliases so our real address was never exposed.
Cons:Hide My Email alias management requires navigating to iCloud settings to view modify or delete aliases, particularly relevant for teams switching from other tools.

Best overall Intelligent Tracking Prevention

by Nitu Gupta

After standardizing our Apple-device team on Safari as the primary browser, Intelligent Tracking Prevention blocked every cross-site advertising tracker we tested including Google Analytics Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag in our privacy audit.

Pros:Our Apple-ecosystem development team with Safari's Intelligent Tracking Prevention blocking cross-site cookie and fingerprint tracking blocked seventy-two cross-site tracking attempts in a single browsing session according to the weekly Privacy Report.
Cons:Intelligent Tracking Prevention may occasionally break sign-on flows on sites using cross-site login redirects requiring per-site exceptions, which requires planning ahead during initial setup.
