Help us maintain a safe, civil, and helpful resource for software buyers. Review our guidelines for contributors, vendors, and partners.
Community Guidelines
Welcome to SoftwareHope! Our community thrives on respectful, constructive, and authentic conversations. Please follow these guidelines when participating in our review sections, active discussions, and roadmap feedback features.
1. Keep it Relevant
Stay on topic. Discussions, comments, and reviews should directly relate to the specific business software, product feature, or development roadmap item being discussed. Off-topic promotions or general political chat dilute platform quality for everyone.
2. Be Civil and Professional
Treat others with respect. Disagree with ideas or product features, not the individuals who write them. Personal attacks, harassment, discriminatory comments, hate speech, or offensive language will not be tolerated.
3. No Spam or Self-Promotion
Do not post promotional pitches, affiliate codes, or repetitive spam in review boxes or discussion comments. Share genuine professional experiences and actionable product feedback instead.
4. Provide Actionable & Constructive Feedback
When writing a software review or suggesting a feature improvement on the developer's roadmap, be specific. Explain *why* a particular function is helpful or where it falls short, backing it up with real-world examples.
5. Respect Privacy
Do not share private personal information (doxxing) of other users, corporate emails, or private phone numbers. Keep all communications safe and professional.
6. Consequences of Violations
Violating these guidelines may result in content removal, temporary account suspension, or a permanent ban from SoftwareHope community features, depending on the severity of the offense.
7. Contact Moderation
If you see any review or discussion thread that violates our guidelines, please report it via the flagging icon or contact our team here.
