Pay Guard is a dedicated, hardened browser environment that Trend Micro launches automatically (or on-demand) when you visit banking, shopping, or financial websites. Unlike standard incognito/private browsing — which only prevents local history storage — Pay Guard actively isolates the session from other browser processes, blocks screen-capture malware, and prevents keystroke logging and man-in-the-browser injection attacks that could steal your credentials mid-transaction. The secure window is visually distinguished by a blue border so you always know when Pay Guard protection is active. It's available for desktop and has a mobile variant (Pay Guard Mobile) for protecting banking apps on Android.
