In Spiceworks Cloud Help Desk, admins can define custom attributes (fields like 'Department' or 'Building') and use ticket rules to automatically route and assign tickets based on these values. A key limitation is that these routing rules only evaluate at ticket creation, and since end-users cannot specify custom attribute values when submitting tickets via email, email-submitted tickets will bypass these rules until attributes are manually populated.
