Frequently Asked Questions

4 questions
A Full backup copies all selected partition data, providing a standalone restoration point that is fast to recover but heavy on storage. An Incremental backup records only changes since the last backup (of any type), resulting in the smallest file sizes and fastest backup runs, but requiring the entire sequential file chain to restore. A Differential backup captures all changes since the last Full backup, offering a quicker recovery process than incremental sets (requiring only the base and the last differential files) but growing larger over time.
