Icedrive utilizes the Twofish encryption algorithm (rather than the more common AES) for its client-side, zero-knowledge encryption. This is not applied by default; users must place files inside a dedicated "Encrypted" folder, which encrypts data and filenames locally on the device before transmission, preventing Icedrive from accessing the decryption keys.
