Hopper's 'Price Freeze' allows you to lock in a flight or hotel price for a small, non-refundable deposit for a specified period (typically 1 to 7 days). If the price rises before you book, Hopper pays the difference up to a specified cap; if the price drops, you pay the lower rate, but the freeze fee itself is never refunded if you choose not to book.
