Corel AfterShot

Corel AfterShot Pro is a lightning-fast RAW photo editor and digital asset manager designed to serve as a powerful alternative to Adobe Lightroom. Its primary selling point is its incredible processing speed; Corel frequently touts it as being up to four times faster than its competitors when importing, processing, and exporting massive batches of high-resolution RAW image files, making it a favorite for high-volume event photographers. The software offers a comprehensive, non-destructive editing environment with robust watermarking, lens correction, and advanced highlight recovery. It supports customizable workspaces and integrates seamlessly with external editors like Corel PaintShop Pro or Adobe Photoshop. Additionally, its robust plugin ecosystem allows users to extend its capabilities with specialized tools for black-and-white conversion or noise reduction. **Pricing:** Corel AfterShot Pro is available as a one-time purchase, appealing to users who dislike subscription models. The perpetual license is priced at $79.99. Users who own previous versions can often purchase an upgrade license at a significantly discounted rate.
