AttackIQ is an enterprise Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS) platform that continuously tests and validates the efficacy of cyber defenses against real-world adversary behaviors mapped to the MITRE ATT&CK framework. By deploying lightweight software agents within corporate network environments, AttackIQ autonomously simulates safe adversary attack chains. These automated simulations verify whether security controls—such as endpoint protection (CrowdStrike Falcon), next-gen firewalls, and SIEM detection rules—are successfully detecting and mitigating threats. Wazuh addresses open-source endpoint security and SIEM. Wazuh covers a lot of ground for an open-source security platform, particularly where endpoint visibility and log correlation are both needed. The platform requires active administration. Default alerts can swamp a small team that has not tuned detection rules.
