Airlock DigitalvsWazuh

Airlock Digital provides specialized application allowlisting (whitelisting) and execution control software engineered to stop unauthorized software, malware, ransomware, and file-based scripts from executing on Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints. It transforms traditional allowlisting from a cumbersome administrative burden into a streamlined operational workflow. Using cryptographic file hashing and automated trusted publisher rules, Airlock ensures that only explicitly approved applications, DLLs, and scripts can execute. Aligned with strict government compliance standards such as the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Essential 8 Maturity Level 3, Airlock empowers security teams to neutralize zero-day payloads before they compromise enterprise networks.

Wazuh addresses open-source endpoint security and SIEM. Wazuh covers a lot of ground for an open-source security platform, particularly where endpoint visibility and log correlation are both needed. The platform requires active administration. Default alerts can swamp a small team that has not tuned detection rules.
